Checklist for Overseas Delivery Customers
At The Retailer


    O Fill out Order Form
    O Fill out and sign Swedish Application for Temporary Registration
    O Fill out and sign Power of Attorney form
    O Submit $2,000 Deposit for a Custom-Built vehicle or any vehicle on the stock list
    O Provide photocopy of your Passport
    O Provide photocopy of your Driver's License
In about 15 working days, Volvo will send out an order confirmation package, which includes:

    O Your Overseas Delivery Order Confirmation
    O The expected Delivery Date of your new Volvo
    O Compare Confirmation to your original order
    O Follow instructions for organizing travel through Corporate Travel Management Group
    O Note: drop-off fees are paid at the time of drop-off in Europe (if you are dropping the car off at any city other than Gothenburg)

    O Final Payment is due at Fields Volvo Waukesha 30 days prior to the confirmed delivery date or when the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is         available. Make sure that you bring the final payment receipt when taking delivery of your car in Europe.

    O 2-3 business days before you leave, call or send an e-mail to the Reception at the Factory Delivery Center to confirm your flight arrival and             delivery appointment. Remember the time difference: call before 10am Eastern Standard Time/ 7am Pacific, etc. (Phone 011 46-31-59 28 65) or             e-mail: fdc@volvocars.com
    O If your delivery is to take place outside of the Factory, contact the delivery center as instructed on page two in the order confirmation booklet, and         call Agent to confirm.

    O Travel to Europe, and ENJOY!

    O Turn car in to our Home Shipment Agent. Only the person listed on the vehicle title can drop off the car. Retain the papers, you will need them!
Your Volvo will follow in about 8-12 weeks. When it arrives at Fields Volvo in Waukesha we shall call you and arrange a convenient time for you to pick up your new Volvo. Make certain to bring the bill of sale, MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin) and US Customs Clearance form in order to allow us to register the vehicle for you.
